Director/writer Sherry White

Sherry White is a screenwriter and actor based out of St. John’s Newfoundland. She was seen performing in the series Hatching, Matching and Dispatching, and was the co-star/co-writer/co-creator of the CBC comedy pilot Rabbittown in 2006. She also wrote and played the lead in the feature film The Breadmaker, which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2003.

Sherry has several feature film scripts in development and is writing a CTV movie of the week called When Matt Became Jade.

Currently, she is a writer and performer on CBC’s new one hour drama series MVP, and has co-written the feature film adaptation of Joel Hynes’ Down to the Dirt with Justin Simms, which will be released in the spring 2008.

Producer Rhonda Buckley

Rhonda is the producer of Diamonds In a Bucket and SPOILED with writer/director Sherry White, both official selections of the Toronto Film Festival. She is the director/producer of the documentary The Real Matriarch for CBC Atlantic to be released in 2008 and also People Who Stay, a documentary that aired on CBC in April 2008.

Rhonda also produced and directed the documentary James Andersen: Over 50 Years of Taking Pictures; screened at the Atlantic Film Festival and aired on APTN in 2006.

She has also worked in marketing and commercial advertising, producing international award-winning campaigns and been publicist for National TV campaigns; Rabbitown, and Hatching, Matching and Dispatching (summer season 2006).
